The Control Room

The TARDIS control room was usually a fairly utilitarian place. The main piece of equipment was the control panel which set the co-ordinates for the TARDIS's flight through the space-time vortex.

Some Doctors added various pieces of furniture; the First Doctor collected clocks and others had various pieces of antique furniture. Access to the depths of the TARDIS was through a set of doors as was access to the world outside the TARDIS, generally on opposite walls of the control room. Almost anything could be found within the TARDIS; including a swimming pool, a library and rooms for the crew.

The roundels in the wall sometimes have storage units hidden behind them.
